Chair on the Staircase is a site-specific installation in Randolph, New Jersey, the USA. As a design-and-build project, Chang sawed off the back legs of a chair according to the staircase measurements in his parents' home, resulting in a chair that sits across spaces, between the staircase landings of the first and second step. It transforms into a transitional place where one can use for rest or to take a phone call.
